Kawah Ijen Reopen with covid19 healthy procedures

Officially was closed since March 16th 2020 to prevent the spread of COVID19 in Banyuwangi. Today on July 11th 2020, Kawah Ijen was reopened for public with a high healthy procedures. Here are some details that tourist need to know before going to Kawah Ijen.

1. Strict Limitation

Visitors can not climb anytime they prefer to go, visitors will be shared to climb twice a day. So, in each time the maximum climb is only 225 people. For the climbing time which is planned to be implemented  at 3:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. for the first shift. As for the second shift, which starts at 08.00 a.m. until 01.00 p.m.

2. Online Ticket Booking

As the number of the visitors were limited, the government only sell the entrance ticket online on their official website We can also help you to book the entrance ticket to simplify the booking steps. 

3. COVID-19 Standard Procedure

The officer strictly implement COVID-19 Healthy Procedure, all guests need to use mask and keep social distancing with other visitors. All tour operator companies need to provide guest with hand sanitizer, use gloves and mask for drivers and tour guides.
